  • Biblical Authority

THE BIBLE, BOTH THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS, IS THE INSPIRED, INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD; IT SERVES AS THE HIGHEST AND FINAL COURT OF AUTHORITY FOR FAITH, WORSHIP AND CONDUCT. (2 TIMOTHY 3:15-17, 1 THESSALONIANS 2:13, 2 PETER 1:21)

  • One True God

THERE IS ONE ETERNAL SELF-EXISTING GOD; THE CREATOR WHO IS REVEALED IN THREE PERSONS: FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. (MATTHEW 28:19, 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14, JOHN 14:16-17)

  • The Deity of Jesus

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ETERNAL SON OF GOD. HE:

    • Was born of a virgin (Matt 1:23)
    • Lived a sinless life (Hebrews 7:26)
    • Performed miracles (Acts 2:22)
    • Died on the cross in our place for our sins (1 John 2:2)
    • Was bodily resurrected from the dead (1 Cor 15:4)
    • Is now exalted to the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:3)
    • Will return to judge the living and the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2 Tim 4:1)
  • Sin and Salvation

    ALL PEOPLE:

    • Have a sin nature (Romans 5:12-19)
    • Have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23)
    • Deserve to be punished by both physical and spiritual death (Romans 6:23)

OUR ONLY HOPE FOR SALVATION FROM THE PENALTY FOR OUR SIN IS THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST SHED ON THE CROSS. (ROMANS 6:23, ROMANS 5:8, 1 PETER 1:19)

WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE THOUGH FAITH BY TRUSTING IN JESUS TO BE THE FORGIVER OF OUR SINS AND THE LEADER OF OUR LIVES. (JOHN 3:3, ROMANS 10:9, EPHESIANS 2:8)

  • Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit’s work in the life of the believer includes:

    • Regeneration (John 3:5-7)

    • Indwelling (1 Corinthians 3:16, John 20:22)

    • Leading into all truth (John 16:13)

    • Marked/Sealed/Stamped (2 Corinthians 2:22)

Available to the believer is the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is the empowerment to be Christ’s witnesses on the Earth until He returns. (Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4)

All of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to the believer and to the

church for the edification of the church and for the equipping of the

believers for the work of the ministry. (Romans 12:3-7, 1 Corinthians

    12:4-11)
